True To Materials Accessories – Working With Monochromes

By June 9, 2014 No Comments

True To Materials Accessories:

You have to take a minute to sit back and brew a fresh coffee, as this might take a while…

Not that we like to be a bad influence or anything but we came across an online magazine that we think you’re just going to love!

It’s Ardent Magazine … and this is what they say:

“We are a pool of dreamers, adventurers, intellects, designers, artists, and philosophers … we come from all different places, but somehow, we found New York as a home. Even though we’ve traveled, and have friends and family near and far, our center is here. You can find either one of us traveling around the island searching for a good new read, a hidden restaurant, or fine espresso.”

Their content is captivating and their photography beautiful, tonally perfect in my opinion. With categories to spend your time leisurely reading such as City Guides, Design for The Home and Body, Food & Drink and Stories … we think you’ll find it difficult to just take a quick peek!

And whilst of course we’re happy share such wonderful online finds like this with you … we’re even happier that in fact some of our jewellery took a visit to the lovely ladies at Ardent Magazine. It travelled all the way over to the Big Apple to adorn the neck and wrist of co-founder of the magazine Sarah Gilfillan for her article “An Les Street A-Faire”.

She strolls through LES, in it’s classic bohemian light, where it “proves itself in unexpected beauty, acting as a welcoming residence to artisanal reconnaissance”.

She teams a black romper with our naturally coloured Tisa Necklace with gold accents – a simple statement for summer, dress up or down … a statement that never goes out of style day or night.

We’re in real agreement when you’ve got a bold statement in “true-to-materials accessories” such as ours here at Saloukee jewellery (including our Gomay bracelet above), then keep the outfit monochrome and simple and let those accessories do the talking! As seen above with our wooden Gomay bangle with gold accents.

Love Saloukee x
