Organic Silver Jewellery -
Amonì Collection:
I often find myself inspired to create collections, when I consciously take a step away from my business. My latest organic silver jewellery collection was no exception to this. I wanted to write a blog to tell you a little more about the inspirations behind my Amonì collection.
Following a meandering trip exploring relaxed Sicily last summer, I couldn’t help but fall in the love with the textures of their buildings and habitats. From flaking paint of walls on houses that told stories of years gone by, to the earth dry and cracked by their scorching summers’ heat. Their flora and fauna, effortlessly providing idyllic backdrops to their man made history, from one village to the next. Using these as my inspiration, I was able to create the tactile collection which I named Amonì.
The Details
Amonì is a beautifully delicate, organic silver jewellery collection which draws from the inspiration of nature and is nurtured by me, into feminine hand made pieces. Its conception started in a design for bronze stud earrings, as part of my Project Wabi Sabi. Due to their popularity, I’m so pleased to have now extended the range to ten beautifully textured investment pieces, made in precious metal.

The collection is made up of four gorgeous textures which I have named: Etna, Ferla, Avola. Lastly and possibly my favourite Capo – meaning ‘Boss’ in Italian. Each texture I carved by hand into wax, before getting them cast and finally forming them into the pieces you see before you.
Within the collection you will find a selection of studs, my first ever hoops, two rings, and two pendants. All solid silver, finished with a high quality polish and hallmarked for authenticity. Made in small batches with limited availability, so they make for lovely gifts. A little heads up too … get any orders in for these in plenty of time! They are made to order they can take up to three weeks before sending.
So, I’d love to hear your thoughts … let me know in the comments section below. x
