I’m so in love … not with a beautiful piece of furniture this time … nor with an ‘out of my price range’ piece of jewellery …
it’s not even an amazingly structured, cleverly pleated piece of fashion … no … it’s kittens …
the most beautiful cats a gal could ever ask for and they join us me in the studio every day … come and meet them …
Back in July, I was lucky enough to move studio (and home) to a more rural setting, in Shropshire. By rural I mean a 20 minute drive to the nearest shops and the cutest little lady running the local post office in the quaintest of villages. With this also brings more space to spread out our studio, more benches to be making, more rolling hills to inspire and clear the mind and more fresh air to breathe in and ponder. I guess moving away from the city and civilisation was a risk but so far it’s one that has been worth taking.
With space has also come the two most lovely additions … our Stanley and our Tilda – the coolest cats on the block!
Often found sunning themselves on my desk as the Autumn rays stream through our loft room windows.
Miss Tilda seems particularly obsessed with the warmth of my laptop
… whilst Stan The Man has become quite skilled at sleeping … and on anything … even my purse!
But regardless of how busy our days are in the studio are … these kitties are always happy to be around to keep us company!
My aim is to give more insight into the real ‘Saloukee Jewellery’ and more of a peek behind the scenes in the coming months. Don’t forget that our newsletter is the best place to get a ‘heads up’ on when content is published as well as other regular content which includes:
